Jean was the best Mum and Nanna Jean you could wish for, She was 59 when she died on 4th February 1999. Our Mum worked most of her life behind the bar at The Prince of Wales in Bootle. She had 1 brother Kevin and was a loving mum to her all her children and granchildren. Jean died suddenly after a short stay in Fazakerley Hospitial.
her laughter and smile brought so much joy to so many and the world is a sadder place since she left us. Missed beyond words

We share the same pain
Hi Cathy, thanks for your tribute on Paul's site. I too lost my lovely brother Laurence he was 40 when he had a massive heart attack in the shopping precinct. The shock was so severe as we thought he was fit. He was a retired black belt in karate and taught the kids at the local station he like your brother was one of lifes gentlemen. As you know besides us our mums could never get over the loss of losing their sons, so as you say Cathy, my mum will be so happy with Laurence and Paul as she idolised both of them. All this is no consolation to us sweetheart but as we both know we have to carry on and cope, and with the help of each other we will do it. Take care Cathy, love Tricia xxx
We share the same pain
Dear Cathy I just had to let you know we share the same pain I lost my lovely husband in Jan 2005 he was only 53 we met when we were 17 and he was my life and then mum died on Xmas night 2006, mum was my rock after Paul died and now I feel so empty without them. I was proud to light your mums first candle and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to light one for Paul. I also lost my lovely brother Laurence he was only 40. As you know Cathy sometimes the pain is so hard to bear but we have to go on and I have found since I set Pauls site up in January the support we can give each other through GTS does help, especially for me as I am on my own.
